How to set up offChat on Android

Direct answer

Install KingFy from Google Play, open the Android app, enter the offChat module, turn Bluetooth on and grant the permissions you are asked for. If the phone offers Wi-Fi Direct, enable that layer too. The other phone needs the same app.

Step by step

1. Open the official Google Play listing and install KingFy.

2. Finish signing in on the Android app. Mesh does not open in the browser.

3. Open offChat and accept the nearby-device permissions the system requests.

4. Keep Bluetooth on. Wi-Fi Direct is added when the device and OS offer it.

5. Ask the other person to repeat the same steps within radio range.

6. Use nearby-device discovery in the module and start the conversation.

If nobody appears

Check that both sides have offChat in the foreground or active, that airplane mode did not disable local radios, and that a permission was not denied. Distance, a wall and an incompatible device also explain an empty list.
