On a P2P mesh, a note can hop from A to C through B when A and C cannot reach each other. An empty street is an empty mesh. There is no nationwide coverage without a chain of phones running the same app.
In KingFy OffChat the mesh is local and Android-based: Bluetooth and, when available, Wi-Fi Direct form the links; relay only exists while neighbours keep the module on.
Real benefit
In a concert queue, a bus or a field, a third phone in the path can extend the local note. That matters when 4G is saturated and people are still in the same place.
For trails and events, agree beforehand that the group uses the same app. The mesh will not “find” someone who only has SMS or another messenger.
Real limit
Mesh is not the internet. It does not deliver in another city. Each hop needs another Android with offChat on. Obstacles still shrink every link.
Do not treat the mesh as an official emergency plan. It is a proximity tool, not a replacement for professional radio or public services.
How to try it with offChat
Three Androids with KingFy: place B between A and C, open offChat on all three, keep Bluetooth on and test whether the note crosses when A and C are too far apart.
